Ogunquit, Maine, affectionately known as “the beautiful place by the sea,” is set to host its vibrant Pride celebration from June 1 to June 8, 2025. This week-long event honors the LGBTQ+ community with a series of joyful and inclusive activities, reflecting the town’s longstanding commitment to diversity and acceptance.
🌈 Week-Long Festivities
The celebration kicks off on Sunday, June 1, at Mainestreet Ogunquit with a Pride Flag Raising and Free BBQ, followed by a lively tea dance featuring DJ entertainment. Throughout the week, Mainestreet will host various themed events, including the Mrs. Roper Romp – Pride Week Edition on Friday, June 6, where attendees can don their best caftans and dance the night away.
🎤 Live Entertainment and Cultural Events
Ogunquit’s Pride Week boasts an array of performances and cultural events:
- Chi Chi Rones Encore Pride Show: Experience the Emmy Award-winning impressionist’s dynamic performance on Wednesday, June 4.
- Broadway Gives Back: Come From Away: A special musical event on Monday, June 2, supporting local causes.
- Belting Besties and Bad Decisions: Join Jen Fogarty and Patrick Dorow for a night of song and storytelling on Sunday, June 8.

- Pride Flag Raising at Veteran’s Park: A unifying ceremony celebrating love and equality.
- Picnic in the Park: Enjoy live music from the Deeves-Hamlin-Sexton Trio and DJ Don, alongside food trucks and LGBTQ+ vendors.
- Pride Dances at Mainestreet: Dance the nights away with DJ AGA on Friday and Steve Sidewalk on Saturday.
