DESCRIPTION:On June 27th in Maine\, the 50th Annual South Berwick Strawberry Festival takes place and is always one of the best local events of the summer in the state! Held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm\, this longtime event draws over 20\,000 visitors for a full day of food\, music\, and family fun. Strawberry favorites are the highlight\, especially fresh strawberry shortcake and strawberry cheesecake served throughout the day. Around the grounds\, you’ll find over 100 New England artisans selling handmade goods\, along with a busy food court run by local non-profit groups. Live entertainment keeps things going all day with music\, bands\, and a magician on two stages. Kids can enjoy games\, crafts\, rides\, and activities in the field area. Free parking and trolley service make getting around easy\, and every dollar spent helps support local groups and community projects.
